About the Country Day School
Country Day School, a U.S. accredited college preparatory school serving an international community, inspires a passion for learning and provides children with the skills, values, and courage to become responsible leaders in their communities and the world.
Our Mission
Located in a suburb of the capital city of San Jose, the Country Day School is known for its warm sense of community and very diverse, international atmosphere. We have a student body of just under 900, serving over 40 nationalities at last count. We celebrate our 50 year anniversary this year and have a long-standing tradition of service learning and giving back to the community.
Producing the leaders of tomorrow is an important endeavor and one we take to heart. Creating courageous leaders in the community (and the world) is an integral part of our mission and 'courage' is part of our daily conversation. Indeed, it will take courage and resolve to confront the problems our students will soon inherit...and then solve.
The GIN Conference directly supports our school's mission as we strive to prepare students to tackle the issues facing our rapidly changing world. We are excited about the upcoming April GIN Conference and filled with optimism for the future of the planet and of humanity. Why?....because tomorrow's leaders are already networking and seeking solutions for the tough challenges that lay ahead.
